LOLLY2POP’s debut EP SAND on YNYS. Coming from working on the NOKIA EP in collaboration with dJJ as ISLAND in 2013 and the GXi collaboration with GAGE in 2015. Robbie Lynch AKA LOLLY2POP returns under a new alias (formerly ISUZU) with a compilation of music made between 2017 - 2019.

SAND focuses on melody, using a minimal production process with a laptop and only three VSTs : Korg’s Wavestation, M1 and Ableton’s Stock Sampler as deliberate move from earlier Audio Production’s to Melody Production. The use of Korg’s sounds is not for their aesthetic quality but as a purposefully reduced palette to put the melodic composition in the foreground. These tracks are meant as a supplement to drum music or a tangent from it.

SAND’s sequenced midi melodies, stock synthetic atmospheres, Trance emotion and bass brings the dance with synth as drum.
